Desperate Emptiness

Indulgence is a state of mind
I’m laughing at what’s left of mine
Ignorance will not work this time
So I’ll kill it all and hope I die

Nothing here can help me live
Nothing left I can forgive
Nothing but these selfish lies
This new disease can’t help me cry
Bye bye

Running from what I despise
Chasing what I think I like
They’re the same things but I still deny
Realisation comes when it all dies
I tried

Breathe in sync with what I love
Analysing all the above
The part of her that wants to fall
Brings her down and makes her crawl
My wall

Indulgence came and I just laughed
Another drug to kill at last
Everything that I became
The nothingness that plays a game
Insane

Nothing but a lie in you
Nothing but a dream you choose
Nothing and what makes it worse
I like to think it’s still a curse
One verse
