Desperado
I am like a young bird learning to fly
Like a little deer starting to walk
The roads are not clear I am lost in my ways,
Reaching out to the world for help.
Temptations are strong and so is my desire
to explore and learn
Please help me identify the road to follow.
Don’t give up on me for I need your guidance
and know that even thought I don’t always show my gratitude
When I feel lonely or lost your words resound in my mind
and knowing you care helps me understand that there is a better way.
Don’t let me loose my way take my hand
and guide me to a brighter day.
