Despair

Stranded deep inside
Dying one friend at a time
Despair becoming me
The mirror stole my only key

A breeze that holds me still
Falling down from what I will
Designed to let her leave
If only so my mirror breathes

Silence from the earth
Confessing truth to seal my worth
Swallowing my heart
I fall right through and find the start

An ocean upside down
I keep on falling though I drowned
I try to close my eyes
But now my eyes just open wide

A world that disappears
Just when I have lost my fear
The ones I need have died
I try to hope but I just cry
