Despair
I follow the breeze across the pond,
my eyes set upon the scene,
Fostering the feeling lost within,
to the shapeless form that's seen.
A desire to capture my thoughts inside,
disarray befalls my heart,
Wondering eyes across the pond,
the longing for the start.
This journey began as many before,
a single footstep to begin,
To follow the breeze across the pond,
a journey to the end.
As I reach the other side,
my heart has begun to swell,
I look across to where it began,
my heart sinks as I know well.
The shapeless scene I saw on point,
is now on the other side,
The feeling of despair engulfs,
to the feelings I keep inside.
