Desires of the Heart

If I could see you glance I will be fine
I'm not trying to ask for the impossibilities
Is just that my heart has been longing for you
Is your back that I keep seeing
From the last stolen sights
But now my heart is open for other views

Could it be that I'm finally giving in
And that I cannot wait any longer
Maybe the promised time is a century late
I wish that my wish could be granted
For the only reason I step in here
Is to be held by your hand
And the tender kiss you bring to me

The memories seem short but sweeter to be remembered
Oh how I long for the glance of your eyes
To be held in the sight, with a stolen smile just for me
Can the desire of something that may never happen be given on this day?
So much is lost, so much can be gained
No need to reminisce on the past
It was broken, but we could fix it all
With just a glance
To remind each other of our existence

If I could see you glance I will be fine
I'm not trying to ask for the impossibilities
