Desires Even Beyond Christmas
This Christmas and other holidays’ fame
May Christ be exalted with His great name.
Hoisted by faith midst supplication zest
I trust God, the Source of gifts, indeed best.
Blissful peace and good success for us all
Shout my heart’s desires* against selfishness' pit fall.
Love-propped, my heart yearns to share with blest care
Reaching-out to help lift someone’s welfare.
Fellowship bonding of sweet partnership
Upholds ministry-service stewardship.
My soul pleads to exude virtues’ gesture
With body’s posture from ailment torture.
Daily, my spirit seeks for revival
Beyond routine of mundane survival.
Midst weariness is rest's delight-savor
Rejuvenating against works’ fervor.
Braced by prayer-plight, in the Lord I delight
Since He brings to light every motive's might.
Verily assured of priceless, precious divine grant
Grateful to my Saviour Jesus, I stay triumphant.
*Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
