Desire

Desire

I once had a desire
which was burning like fire
it came
and gone
another desire grew deep in me
a desire for joy
my Mother gave me a new toy
the desire came
and gone
later on I had another desire
for delicious food
my Granny cooked for me
I ate
I felt so good
the desire came
and gone
now I trully know
that to desire is not enough
you may smile
laugh
and still want to laugh
again and again
because of these desires.
