Desire

I have seen peace;i have seen pain Much of sighing and troubled lives Dying,crying and full of strifes How i wish peace reigns To give comfort in pain Ihave seen faith;I have seen fear See tommorrow hanging on ladder of fate cruelty and hate on every face I have seen wealth;i have seen wretch people desolate and destitutes of daily bread Who lingers on to take their final breath How i wish peace reigns To give comfort from tears and pain I have seen love;i have seen lust mostly for riches,wordly pomp and power Not for others but selfish shower No more friend,not one to trust What i desire most Peace,unity and love,not lust To make the world a better place Where everyone finds a solace
