Desert Moon
Desert Moon
In the dark premise of our soul we shall know
To egnite the flame to help light our way
Is this the place called Desert Moon so they say
To be humble enough to bow the knee to pray
The sand covers the smile of fierce lovers
A push to light the spark of what we are waiting for
The coyote's howl in the distance out of circumstance
To hear the sweet song of birds taking their flight
Shadows block the vision of walking passerby's
The true poets have often studied it's vast intent & remedy
Along comes the Micmac tribe in how they ever thrived
The love that they embraced to family & friends
A sought after excursion with which to depend
Out of the silence a modest touch received
Through travels of nomads by which to perceive
A heart that will beat the tune of angelic mood
Long lines of spectator's to look on it's vast decorum
One moment in time perplexed by it's hidden design
To loved then lost was better to never at all
A tug at the heart will light the spark of what I'm waiting for
Let the desert moon capture your true imagination with it's love
