Descending Lonely Leaf

Leaf
Descends
Crimson curl
Brittle breath breaks
Bending into dark
No breeze strong enough now
Burdened boughs won’t bear the weight
Scarlett cry clings to cracked silence
The final flutter of fading hope
One is leaf left, lost in its spiral fall.
Frost cannot hold the murmur of the roots.
What breaks down returns to form again.
Budding growth awaits light's return
To flourish, they must lie still
silence, soil, sacred rest.
Stillness shifts to buds.
Death speaks green truths.
Time circles
Always
back.

This is not just beautiful and so very descriptive, flowing with such exquisite alliterations, but also is so deeply meaningful and soul hitting! Especially lines such as "Frost cannot hold the murmur of the roots. What breaks down returns to form again." that speaks volumes to my soul and heart and has a philosophical touch to it too! How creative and artistic is the way your etheree flows! Youv delivered an impressive take! And the last words are so true! Powerful! Thank you for joining: congratulations on your top win!
