Descend To Rise
Body bondage, bane becomes boon
In slowed down vibrations we swoon
A realm to hold still awareness
That love’s embrace, may heart cocoon
We begin with separateness
Next step interconnectedness
Compassion then makes our soul pure
Transcending to the That oneness
The journey’s long, since we’re unsure
Many a hardship we endure
We look outwards, everything sized
World of illusions holds allure
Desires approach, ego disguised
We act not as conscience advised
No wonder we sink into gloom
Remaining thus, until baptised
Turning to God, we give love room
Heart heals and we begin to zoom
Darkness instantly yields to light
Enabling bliss throbs to resume
Once we obtain spherical sight
Ensconced in rapture, day and night
Flame of awareness flicker free
Joy of freedom, our soul’s delight
