Depth of the Human Soul
in a perfect world,
we'd accept others
for who they truly are;
we'd be free
of unconscious bias
against those
who look differently than we do.
we sadly have a tendency
to judge other people
based on appearances;
what they wear.
it matters not
the way we choose
to present ourselves
to the world,
our inner beauty
is paramount;
eschew superficiality,
plumb the depth
of the human soul.
