Depression Lesson
The lesson of depression is carry on strong,
you may get the impression all but stress is gone,
giving up is the only giving that's wrong,
press on and this impression will lessen before long.
When you think it's testing me,
think it a contest with destiny,
when drive and desire cease to be,
dig deep and go with dignity.
Press on through pressure,
be strong whatever,
and be assured it is clever
to fight depression together.
