Depression

An icy razor
Hits warms flesh
A deafening rip
Whistling through the air
A cold hello waking to dawn
Regret perspiring beads of sweat
Secrets hidden in deep cuts
Along red throbbing limbs
Bruises appearing black and blue
Purple doesnt seem so royal
Questions evil thoughts
Whispers in the ear
Insanity a sorrowful companion
Yet I long to be its friend
Benoni child of sorrow
Voices cease to raise spirits
A lonely hello
A heartfelt goodbye
Depression...my best friend
