Depression

Beware! In my Dwelling, a predator
slinks in without Even saying hello -
spirit who Pretends he’s my creditor -
green with greed and Remarkably yellow.
My words have Escaped this parasite-pest,
“You are So unwelcome here, a no-guest,
a remnant Scrap from a life I once led."
You would bleed me white or kill me Instead.
I ban you contender Of aggression,
Begone Now! rid me of this depression.

thanks, Paula. Am watching my grandson today - he is trying to learn some independence at eleven; but he gets bored and maybe a little scared at being alone all day. Last week, he sent me a message on the phone - "Nana, can you come watch me" And of course, I could. His older bro is asleep in the basement most days; but he wants some conversation and "lunch." Thanks for listening. Last night he said, "Come over about ten tomorrow."
