Depression

I smile a pretty smile
I laugh loudly from the heart
It’s late at night
When things begin to fall apart

I dance like no one watching
I sing at the top of my lungs
I cry
I’ve got it all, but have no one

The moment is my stage
A wild spirit young at heart
Everyone loves me
Yet my mind is an abstract work of art

I’m tired
It’s too late to feel any shame
It’s all too much
It’s time to leave my pain

As I lie down
I rise above
Peace
Love

Thanks. In case you're wondering these poems are a little about me but primarily about my clients. I am a life coach and SMART counselor, so I talk to a lot of people who are suffering. As I listen to their situations it paints stories in my mind. I like to create poems that tells their stories. Thanks again
