Departing
Leave me alone, can't you see,
I’m trying to die here peacefully,
I can’t understand why you hate,
The verse and words that I emulate.
The truth lies within obviously,
I am a lover and hater; creature from the sea,
I cry in the shower to disguise my tears,
My face doesn’t alter to show my fears.
At night I would listen to them until I sleep,
Hoping for the day you will return to me,
I’m not in this life for the game anymore,
I’m bleeding inside where my heart was torn.
This is me inside flooding to bleed out,
To show the world what ME is all about,
I fight back the mist every single day,
You think I’m all here and with you to stay.
Smile is all I will ever take to my grave,
Not prepared to die so I shall misbehave,
I am completely lost at times within the trees,
I hope the path I follow will bring myself back to me.
