Dental Drama

~ DENTAL DRAMA ~ Heart leaping as a leopard, wildly. Room spinning as a tornado, so violently! X-Rays shoved in my mouth here and then, there. My sweaty palms grasp the arms of the leather chair. Plastic-masked, monsters with huge needles they come. Making my jaw, dead and so woefully, numb. The drama, the fear, all was for naught. Pain from suffering was given, so blessedly sought! Ouch, ouch ouch... this sounds like my worst nightmare Panagiota. I am the biggest baby when it comes to pain, having a very low pain threshold. But then I read that people with red hair have no pain threshold, so that explains everything! My brother used to call me a whimp, but my darling used to call me a delicate flower... With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Dear Delicate Flower~ same here re pain! I told them to really freeze the jaw. It took plenty of injections. Ouch. A dentist can look at me and there I am ..level 10 in pain. I don't have red hair and have been sensitive all my life. Thanks Ann Your Pain Twin, Panagiota xx

Hello Panagtiota, I do not like going to the dentist either. Yet I still go and i find to be in the chair is way too long. I also wonder when the job is over. so i could go home. Have a nice evening my friend. Darlene xx

Good you go but far from a pleasant experience. I hated it since I was small. It's always a relief when you are told its done, right? Thank you Panagiota

You discribed it well Panagiota, I'm lucky I've always been okay with the dentist, it's my wife who has the big fear of them. Hope your mouth okay now. Tom

Hi Tom~ Oh, indeed I am OK now. I worked as a Dental Assistant when working my way through college. Who were the biggest babies? MEN! LOL. Glad you are not one of them, Giving birth is harder than going to the dentist.thank you, Tom. Panagiota xx
