Denied

I reached out to you with open arms
and showed my heart wide and true
you denied me even a fraction of you
what that has done to me you have no clue
Games have never been my way
 if I choose to play
I'll turn them down each and every day
My heart is pure and my intentions are true
Never would I want to be fake with you
But I guess you can't recognize
what's in front of your face
so I'll step back and let you have your way
I know you'll look back on this very day
this moment in time when words could have saved
the actions you cause with your silence and pride
I wish you well as you hide inside
