Denial

Blindly given a part solely mine
Caress of promises fleetingly sublime

No crevice untouched, valley of mounds
Shadow warnings by release of sounds

A single illusion of two made whole
Broken pieces of one innocent soul

Hands slither to corrupt with poison
Ruins the flesh for his own reason

Barren exposed, no longer a use
Foolish girl, never to be a muse
