Demise of Decay
Fallen so far
and still falling we are
and all that we hold
lets us down
The dying is hard
the fear and the pain
the sorrow of war
are accursedly ours
time and again
While with arrogant folly
we boast of a hope
that we have no collateral to buy
Yet those who will cry
for a light and a line
and who by grace are there at the time
may see the unseen
the fulfilling of dreams
the reverse of the fall
the undoing of thrall
demise of decay
as fear runs away
and evil is cancelled
for lack of subscription
the kingdom has come
