Dementia

Your looking at me But are you there ? You look so lost just sat in your chair Our hearts are breaking seeing you this way If we could change it, believe that we would take your dementia away. We are grieving the loss of the man you should be. What we should be doing, where we should be. Each day you drift a little further away But I hope you still realise we're with you every step of the way. We know that your still in there. So we will never give up, wel never stop caring or showing our love. Your more than just you. Your everything to us. We're trying our best I hope were doing enough.

It is difficult to see a loved one not well. It is important to show they are still loved and cared for. A good poem and description of how dementia affects people.

Many will identify with this one Blair, so heartbreaking to see a loved one fade away. Tom

It really is tom such a difficult illness true what they say you grieve twice with dementia as they slip away before theyv actually past.
