Delicious Life

“Life is a buffet, which I try to enjoy to the fullest by filling my plate again and again.”

Delicious life, a great buffet!
I do not simply eat to live.
I live to eat! I live to play;
I live to love all life can give.

I sit down at the table of
delicious life, a great buffet,
and where with souls I dearly love
I hope to always get to stay.

The tenderest of beef filet
is life’s profundity (its meat!)
Delicious life - a great buffet!
I heap my plate with things to eat.

Each new thing tried -a new flavor
adds to the menu of each day.
Desserts are memories I savor!
Delicious life – a great buffet.

Jennifer Proxenos November 1, 2021 at 10:50 PM Good luck in the contest my friend a good philosophy to write about, I like the lines 'The tenderest of beef fillet, it's life's profundity(its meat).' Some disapprove of meat in a diet, but as long as we don't exceed two meals a week of it, my father in law lived to 93, and ate meat every all his, life, he was sharp and read the newspaper with a magnifying glass as his one eve was bad, from cover to cover daily.
