Déjà Vu

Your words and my words-
My find and your find-
Your movement, my movement-
My touch, your touch-
It was déjà vu.
I stopped and looked at you,
Looked around and remembered
A oddly familiar scene or dream
I seem to have had once or twice,
No matter the times before,
It has come back to me
(Or I to that realm) like a past life
Played in the theatre of my mind.
It was real yet surreal
Like a message from God
An angelic visitation
With light all around,
And at that moment, I felt like
I was in the right place
At the appointed time.
And there’s no better life;
There’s no better way
To remember you,
To think of you right now.
