Defrosting the Freezer Compartment

(Persons younger than thirty may not even comprehend what this is about)

Defrosting the Freezer Compartment

By Elton Camp

Younger folks have never had to do this
Older people, the job surely don’t miss

A freezer compartment filled with frost
At least an hour’s time is sure to be lost

A fan and hot water will speed it up a bit
Still an odious job to make you have a fit

Especially if you happen to procrastinate
It become an onerous task to truly hate

With exasperation you’ll then shout
It’s hard to get your items in or out

Surely these old types aren’t still found
Self-Defrosting ones are the best around

After thinking it over, I have little doubt
Under 30, you don’t know what it’s about
