Defining the Eternal Arrival Toward Heaven

The one thing in all our lives that is absolute.
Many of us strive to avoid it, at all costs.
Living to our fullest,
enjoying family, friends, and life itself.

Some, never know happiness.
They have loss of life
long before the reaper finds them.
They seek their own demise daily.

Some, after many years,
see death as the zenith
of a life well lived
Pleased with their own passing,
they release their hold on this world
and depart willingly into the next.
They ascend, gleefully
on the Celestial Elevator
into the next domain.
