Define Love Again

The world is in a state of fear;
 it seems like nobody really cares.
 Fear is running through our bones
because it doesn't even feel safe
 at home.

The taste of war is everywhere--
bullets flying from people who don't
 care. Law and order are falling apart.
There's something wrong with the
 human heart.

Wars are being fought in many places.
 Like a deck of cards where there' are
no aces. Brutality rules today; we are
 so very far from being okay.

Let's ask ourselves what is causing this
 mess. It really feels like some kind of test.
could it be love is trying to break through
 but first is showing what the evil side to
 teach you?

I truly hope that's the case; if it's not;
 this life is a waste. There's so much for
us to gain if we define love and give
it a name. There so much we can do
if you love me like I love you.
