Defects Are the Imperfections

Defects are the imperfections
of a character that is hostile
to changes making it more
susceptible to judgment;
name a few of those individuals
who assume of being perfect
and don't need a transformation
to point out some or all
of their hideous faults!

What's flawlessness...
a virtue without blemishes?
Who's the impeccable one:
if not the Creator who gave
us life and wisdom to live it?

We are very harsh in judging
others, not noticing our flaws...
not feeling ashamed of what
we think when we replace
humility with vanity!

Our reflection in that mirror
doesn't display self-worth:
the image seen so clearly
is not true to the self-concept
of what we should really be!

Hi Andrew, long time no read. Still, in all, every person, every action must have a purpose if you believe in an omnipotent God. Light & Love Always

Greetings, Debbie. I am so happy to hear from you. I hope you are doing fine. Thank you for your kind comment. Only God Almighty is perfect in every way. Good souls try to imitate Him by loving one another and by being humble. Vanity has no place in their hearts. I hope you had a good weekend. Happy Monday to you. Hugs, Andrew.
