Defeated Yet Determined
Things dont always go your way
The undeserved thrash you in the race
You have to graciously accept your defeat
And hide your emotions and dreams of what could be
But it doesn't always have to be like that
You can fight your fate and no need to hide your wrath
Sometimes things just don't work your way
What you want is not what you get
And for that there is nothing you can do or say
Life is never an easy path to walk upon
The trodden and untrodden, which to choose is a risky task
Rewards are hard to get and obstacles are plenty
And the workload to achieve something is hefty
You might get beaten down and stumble on your way
But never give up on hope and raise yourself
Dust off the dirt and shine above all
Show everyone what you deserve and who you are
You will be rewarded with what you deserve
Just never lose hope and never stop
