Defeat the Suffering

Listen to your heart
listen to your soul
take another chance
not dig another hole

Not a countless Victim
Not the vultures Prey
open up your mind
take another way

You can always make it
take a stand and try
not just sit there thinking
it will make you cry

Take a leap of faith
Run into His lands
God is always waiting
to take you by the hand

Now is your time
clear all of your denial
be glad He's here for you
Grab a hold and smile

Good descriptiveness is delivered in simple and easy to read wording. Your rhyming is quite good as well. With your second line of the fourth verse, "his" needs a capital H. The same goes for "he's" in the third line of your fifth verse. All pronouns in reference to The Almighty have to begin with capital letters. Also, thank you for commenting on "No Wacky Weed". That submission has not garnered much attention.

I keep taking leaps of faith and ending up in a hole, Virginia. This is a very meaningful poem for me. Thank you for stopping by my work. Best wishes, Carolyn
