Even though I'm sitting down.

Dear Lassad, deep emotions are felt in your poetic lines of a humiliation mingled with a vexation. I loved the juxtaposed imagery here; "I'm still faltering. / Even though I'm sitting down." The vulnerability is felt in a powerful way. I love the pic of the parrotlets. I had one (Jazzy) and she was precious to me. Sadly she passed away several years ago. Wonderful penning!
