So sad and so true, Sara...the disease runs in my family (my grandpa, his mom, and three of his siblings). I even had a great-uncle diagnosed in his early fifties. I worry about my mom and even myself...thanks for sharing...hugs, Rhonda

Dear Sara, this poem is so powerful! The analogy of fog to Alzheimer's Disease is brilliant and you describe the way it steals bits and pieces of us so well. Wishing you great success in the contest. (Hope to see you where the butterflies congregate!) Love, Carolyn
