Deep Reflections

What do you see, when
    You look to the mirror?
Is it the vanity of beauty,
    Or the ugliness of fear?

It's a rarely asked question,
Seeking what lies in one's mind.
Since the answer is seldom
Truthful, as it tries to be kind.

Despite the interrogation, the
    Self-awareness must be found.
Bringing peace to a troubled
    Conscience, where harmony can surround.

And when the truth is finally
Reflected, and the true nature is shown.
You can rest assured in the beauty,
    Since now it is known.
