Deep Fall Gratitude

The streetlight in the fog Emits a spotlight In this dark and cold and fresh northwest. I sit beside the warm glow. My body shivers. It's an icy beauty. In the mist of the streetlights my world goes by, And then around, spinning. Even in this silent freeze You can find reason to be on your knees.
