Deep Down: Sirens of Shame

The sirens are calling in the ocean Echoing my name in emotion Erosion in the water of motion The fish of the sea are making aquatic commotion Ooh ooh ooh Ahh ahh ahh Mm mm mm Deep down, They’re calling... They’re falling out of reach Deep down, I beseech them to stay To keep me from falling into the lonely lagoon A beach not my own It’s in the deep unknown Deep down... Deep down.. I’m all alone... Sirens in the flames They’re calling me James When, in fact, the name’s Jonah I hear them still...a beauty within a flaw Sirens of shame They’re just not tame And I’m not to blame Ooh ooh ooh Ahh ahh ahh Mm mm mm Deep down, They’re calling... They’re falling out of reach Deep down, I beseech them to stay To keep me from falling into the lonely lagoon A beach not my own It’s in the deep unknown Deep down... Deep down.. I’m all alone... The sirens are in the waves Beneath the lighthouse Let’s be brave and behave Follow the rules to the watery house The cliffs are cold and bare The wind is whistling everywhere Ooh ooh ooh Ahh ahh ahh Mm mm mm Deep down, They’re calling... They’re falling out of reach Deep down, I beseech them to stay To keep me from falling into the lonely lagoon A beach not my own It’s in the deep unknown Deep down... Deep down.. I’m all alone... The seagles and the sea Are friends and foes of mine Until the maelstrom hurricane, heavy rainfall, whirling windstorm and illuminated lightning hits violently But...I... Hear the roaring waters below They call me in the abyss so low I know - listen - I know their glow... A wind of silent blow...and it will show... Into the not-so-shallow waters of long ago Sweatbeads on my brow, I wipe it off and dive into the H2O of crystal clear, icy rough though
