Please take my friend to heaven
For this to you Lord I implore
Don’t let her at all suffer
I pray for this not to happen anymore.
She’s been so frightened Father
You know that this is truly so
She’s afraid of being alone or dying
I think but really I don’t know.
So before she passes to you
And, Lord, know I mean no harm
But in your mercy take her please
From within my loving arms.
