Declining Values
I had not imagined such annoying impatience.
The lone homeless looking gentleman, although
outside of the cross walk, was crossing the intersection.
I needed to turn left, resulting in delaying on-going traffic.
The gentleman slowly crossed as I patiently waited; but
I heard a horn behind me. I was less annoyed by its sound
than I was surprised. I said to myself, "Were the gentleman
an animal, no one would blow". I was sadden by the thought of it.
