Declare the Rising

Springs blossoms are
Riding in on the chariot of achromatic clouds
Sweeping across the vast skies
Covered in shrouds Of March winds

Tree tops wave and swaying in greeting
And down below the thaw has begin
Delivered by the sun
Warming the soil to turbid heap
And on she shall leap

And hear the showers of April
Soaking the roots below
For they have seeds to grow
Wake up
Wake up

For a new season has sprung
Bringing with it a fickle fun
With variable temperatures
And the painting of nature’s art

And new arrivals of the young
And enchanting ventures
For May
Oh and May she brings her cheer
With smiles and laughter everywhere

Flowering apple trees
In seas of china pink
Bursting dogwoods in fuchsia
In rainbows all in sync

Patchworks of tulips in the array of colors
Oh the charms of spring
What a bewitching time it brings
