big hatted cat in a
hip city flat
remembering that
he was in a big
city
flat
not patient
like some other
dead cat
just not sure who's flat...or
why somebody else's
leaning over the balcony rail
looking across the
city
smoking a cigarette
shifting through too many
impressions
responding with
so little
effect
