We should never forget history. It does repeat itself.

December Seventh By Franklin Price 12/07/2020 The U.S. must remember In nineteen-forty-one December When death and fire rained down from the sky For some time, all of it was planned, We made no move to take a stand We look back now, and have to wonder why Ships were sunk and many killed A Day of Infamy, was billed It took our nation into World War Two Since then, we've never been the same Since then, we've played a world wide game We soon became the captain of the crew When World War Two was said and done The U.S. was the only one That had not had a battle deep within Extended out our helping hands To friend and foe in foreign lands Making battered nations whole again Won't lie, we made a buck or two For work we did not have to do The ones we helped, made better for it all Years seven-nine since it began To see us now, I'm not a fan Both in and out we're headed for a fall The super rich, who can't relate Are paying for the ending date Shoving money at the House and Senate The signs are there, as forty-one Every day from sun to sun They fund the swamp; most everyone that's in it Our great nation's threatened now We, who care, must make a vow To throw again, the tea into the sea Our enemy is here to stay If we don't strive to make them pay Where does it start? It starts with you and me
