December dreams wake the soul and mind Rosy cheeks and snow covered hills Songs, laughter and bells ring The lights and gatherings bring thrills Cozy celebrations have special food Love ignites like the woodstove fire Kisses melt under the mistletoe Where December dreams inspire Heidi Sands 11/30/21 Placed 2nd in the November or December Quatrain poetry contest.
