December
December
December, known as
last month of our year,
brings happiness to
celebration, cheer.
Soon January will
begin, appear
with new beginnings
wipe the old year clear.
A time to tally up
the happy, sad
those prior months,
before December had.
Months, torn away
from calendars like mad,
now gone; new year
awaits its launching pad.
December closes
circle of year's time
the ending of beginning,
now pastime.
Completion of December
is the sign
A brand new year
will enter our lifetime.
