Christmas is
The time of year
For bringing joy
For bringing cheer

All the hustle
All the bustle
Turns shopping trips
Into a tussle

All the crazies
All the weirdos
All the ripoffs
All the ladies.

If you buy this,
We'll throw in the hat
If you buy this,
We'll throw in that.

But what most people
Tend to forget
Is that this isn't
What it's all about.

2,000 years back
He came to be
2,000 years back
He came to me

So we could live
Eternally
