Deceived
I have been the best I could
with you I always stood
In all corners of life,
I took you and looked at you as my wife
I gave you all that I had to offer
I always never left you suffer
For you my heart grew in love and respect
I was moved to believe in love we were perfect
To me you were like light
A light in me that shone so bright
You light my world,you became my hope
You washed my dirty Saul clean,you became my soap
Now everyday I sing this song
Dear where really did I go wrong
Is this the best reward
Is this the best you could bring forward?
So much my heart has bled
A lot of tears I have shed
My heart has now remained hollow
Only filled with a lot of sorrow
I feel deceived
I feel I have been fooled
I feel cheated
I feel I have been despised.
