Deceit

Once
                                                       the snake
                                             injured with a wound
                                            asked the faithful frog
gently for a ride across the pond
I shall but will you bite the frog replied
of course not the snake denied
                                          halfway across the water
                                               upon his green back
                                                       he felt a
                                                          sting
