Deceit

DECEIT

You made me believe in trust, yet you betrayed my trust
You made me believe in love, yet you hated my love
You made me believe in faith, yet you never trusted my faith
You made me believe in growth, yet you killed my growth.

You made me believe in riches, yet you impoverished my riches
You made me believe in blessings, yet you cursed my blessings
You made me believe in freedom, yet you enslaved my emotions
You made me believe in safety, yet you endangered my safety
You made me believe in truth, yet you deceived my heart.

You made me believe in strength, yet you weakened my bones
You made me believe in hope, yet you lost hope and gave up on me
You made me believe in confidence, yet you scare my confidence
You made me believe in success, yet you failed my hard work
You made me believe in reality, yet you are fake.

You made me believe in peace, yet you fought my peace
You made me believe in heaven, yet you made a hell out of my life
You made me believe in innocence ignorantly, yet you weren't a chaste being
You made me believe in space, yet you never gave me one
You made me believe in life, yet you died.
