Deaths Ride
A riding storm approaches and in its consuming mists,
rides upon a broad steed
death holding life's reigns in his grip
he towers over mountains
seeps through doors
flowing over the world like a river or a storm
taking life's defenses
smothering the flame
consuming thoughts roaming through out my brain
ride unto my door step
death knocks upon the door
he kisses my lips and helps me by far
I climb upon his dark steed
and off to the mist do we ride
death taking life and I
