Death's Finality

I accept Death's finality; it's been an age since faith faded. I've lost the convictions of youth, viewing grace through cynical eyes. It's been an age since faith faded: my prayers dwindled to a few. Viewing grace through cynical eyes, I dispute what religions preach. My prayers dwindled to a few: it's hard to accept, yet it's true. I dispute what religions preach, now that my life's nearing its end. It's hard to accept, yet it's true: life is a transitory state. Now that my life's nearing its end, I no longer believe in God. Life is a transitory state; I've lost the convictions of youth. I no longer believe in God, I accept Death's finality.
