Deathly Stares
Upon the boat we sit and stare,
At Sea and souls and sin and air.
The fate of man is written scarred,
The doomed condemned, the deathly barge.
To Hell we sail, no Holy Grail pride,
Can save our lives from waves and tides,
Which carry us onward through this fearful night.
No light in the sky of the afterlife.
He pushes us onto to who knows what,
The faceless unseen, the unknown thingy, wotnot.
His name is not known by mere mortals.
We never knew about all these portals.
Some go up but most go down.
You cannot leave, you cannot drown,
For all your future has been written.
You shook the hand, then you were quickly bitten.
Contracts signed on the dotted line.
One soul for one life,
For one being, one’s self.
Now you shall suffer the eternal Hell.
Across the river of Styx,
Awaits The Devil’s tricks,
And you can never stop,
His deadliest of plots.
