Deathbed Poetry- Nostradamus
Epitaph:
‘Tomorrow at sunrise, I’ll no longer be here’
--- Nostradamus
A subtler me is reborn and I feel the light
Embracing me gently with its profound grace.
As I embark on my journey towards the light in sweet reform
I witness countless glimpses of an inimitable past.
The sophistication in the pattern of all that I have lived
Gladiate through me sending sweet ruptures.
I invite the whole of the cosmos in my being
As bubbles of light fill me with a universal wisdom.
Happy now, that I am free, done with a life
When another is yet to unfold.
But somewhere an emptiness seems to weigh---
My work is yet to see the light!
Of all that I have envisioned to share with them,
and answers in the puzzles that I’ve designed.
A sudden ripple--of severing ties, awakens the pain--
Of a longer tomorrow that they can’t see.
Will they be able to measure or fathom my love, silent yet profound ?
Destiny, Thou art Divine, but aren’t they meant to pass
The challenges of love that I see gather in the horizon?
Let them trudge along their paths and see the light
And let pain dissolve in their deliverance!.
